Ukrainian businessman Vladimir Shkolnik and his friend Sergey Samokhvalov became interested in the concept of the SHERP ATV. They bought a Sherp Prototype and tried it on one of their expeditions. Sherp Prototype was constantly breaking down, but its capabilities impressed so much, that in the mid of 2010 they opened factory production of SHERP all-terrain vehicles.
