Steering clutch re-shiming (part 1). SHERP Pro ATV parts and Service

So this is the steering unit and we're going to proceed by showing you how to properly shim every time you adjust service or replace the shin packs okay so the first thing we need to do is we need to bring our adjust or our clutch arm right dead center so the ball is in the v on both sides and then we'll go ahead and make a mark here on the top of our the bolt here because it's dead center with the ball and then you make a mark straight parallel with it across and after you do that you go ahead and you would your cylinder would be back here so you would move it as if your cylinder was working bring it to full adjustment with your hands take your calliper Watch video for more information.
