Apocalypse Dark Horse Ford Bronco 6x6

Apocalypse Dark Horse Ford Bronco 6x6

Keywords:

225 inches is the length bumper-to-bumper of this Bronco thanks to the stretched and extra axle.
As part of Apocalypse Manufacturing's project, the team converted a new Ford Bronco into a six-wheel-drive vehicle. Dark Horse is the name given to this stallion by the company as it has a mean streak.

A new bumper on the Ford Bronco 6x6 has a center light bar and stacked lamps on each side. Large tow hooks are also present. With the upgraded suspension, the rig gains a lift of 4.0 inches (10.16 centimeters).

It's the back that's changed the most. By extending the bed and fenders, the company can accommodate the extra axle. Broncos with a revised roof panel have additional side and rear windows. The tailgate can hold a full-sized spare wheel. A bumper-to-bumper extension increases the vehicle's length to 225 inches (5.715 meters). Milestar Patagonia M/T tires cover the 37-inch Bronco Manufacturing wheels. Several of the images show dry mud on the sidewalls, which tells us that Apocalypse 6x6 has been used for some off-roading.

Marine-grade leather covers the reupholstered interior in brown and black tones.

The Ram-TRX-based Warlord is among the builds from Apocalypse Manufacturing. Two hundred fifty thousand dollars gets you a burly truck with a lifted ride height and a style bar over the bed. With a supercharged 6.2-liter V8, the power output is unchanged at 702 horsepower (534 kilowatts) and 650 pound-feet of torque (881 Newton meters).

The Jeep Gladiator-based Hellfire is another option. There's an LS3 V8, Hellcat V8, and a 3.0-liter turbodiesel engine available from GM.

Squinting lights and a bulging hood give it a menacing appearance.

The six-wheeled-drive Bronco is not the only vehicle under development by Apocalypse Manufacturing. One was shown by Maxlider Brothers Customs in 2021. Deliveries are expected to begin in 2022, with a build starting at $399,000.

Ford has added several new Bronco models and options to its lineup. Perhaps the most notable one is the Raptor. A snorkel is included in the Everglades. For the Wild Trak trim level, there is also the HOSS 3.0 package.
