Atlas ATV is a badass off-roader that can navigate on water
You can tell right away that this isn't your typical all-terrain vehicle by looking at it. In 2019, this machine was designed by Ukrainian company Atlas Industry to withstand extreme conditions. These huge tires make this ride even capable of traveling on water.
With these tires inflated to the recommended pressure, they stand 1.65 meters tall (64.9 in), which is convenient for keeping the vehicle afloat. Supercar Blondie's Serge Galiano tested it out on the sand to see how it performed.
In addition to the exceptional ground clearance, Atlas has 58 cm of ground clearance. The vehicle is powered by a 1.5-liter turbo-diesel engine from Renault. In water, its maximum speed is 7 kph (4 mph), while on land, it can reach 60 kph (37 mph). In addition, it boasts a fuel efficiency of 95 percent and an impressive driving range of 800 kilometers (497 miles).
The interior is quite roomy. Transport is possible for up to 12 people, but the configuration can be modified to allow stretchers to be deployed if necessary. With a large windshield, the driver will have great visibility from the middle of the front.
Though Atlas appears to be a beast from the outside, the inside is quite simple. Almost anyone with a standard license can operate the vehicle. One of these is actually available for $135K, and it can be customized to meet your needs. Below is a video showing Sergi playing with it in the sand.
